The ‘Desafío 10 Picos Sierra de Espadán’ is a cyclosportive event that will celebrate its fourth edition on 20th April 2024, starting and finishing in Onda, Castellón.
Once again this year, ‘La 10 Picos’ will climb ten peaks on a route of 134.7 kilometres and 3,125 metres of positive difference in altitude. All of this, surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of the Sierra de Espadán. A unique experience for lovers of cycling and cycle touring. Starting in Onda, ‘La 10 Picos’ includes climbs to the peaks of Alcudia de Veo, Eslida, Almedíjar, La Nevera, Matet, Collado de Cuatro Caminos, Alto de Villamalur, Alto del Pinar, Alto de Pavías and Collado de Ayódar. A real challenge through one of the jewels for the practice of cycle touring that we enjoy in the Comunitat Valenciana.
For less experienced cyclists or for those who prefer a more accessible challenge, the ‘IV Desafío 10 Picos Sierra de Espadán’ has again a short route, also starting and finishing in Onda, Castellón. A total of 65.3 kilometres and 1,300 metres of positive difference in altitude climbing the passes of Alcudia de Veo, Eslida and Almedíjar.
What is included with my registration?
Registration for the ‘IV Desafío 10 Picos Sierra de Espadán’ includes a multitude of services. Personalised race bib, jersey with an exclusive design for this IV Edition by Gobik brand, finisher medal for all those who cross the finish line, rider’s bag when the bib is handed in, medical and mechanical assistance on the road during the race, four solid and liquid refreshment points along the route, toilets and showers, giant paella as the end of the party… and more services that we will announce as the day of the race approaches.

The registration process starts with a promotional period between September 1st and 7th (both inclusive) only for those registered for the 2023 edition. The initial starting price will be 40 euros (up to the 200th registration).
From 8 September, at 10:00 a.m., the general registration period will be open to everyone, whether or not they were registered in the last edition. Registrations will remain open until 14 April or until 1,000 registrations are completed.
The first price bracket will be €40 (federated) and €50 (non-federated) and will be available for the first 200 registrants. Once these have been exceeded, a second tranche will be opened with prices of €50 (federated) and €60 (non-federated) until 400 registrations are reached. From then on, and until 1,000 registrations are reached, the last price bracket will be €60 (federated) and €70 (non-federated).
In addition, this year we have a VIP REGISTRATION with a price of 150€ (federated) and 160€ (non-federated). This registration includes exclusive services like bicycle parking, cloakroom, own chemical toilets, breakfast ‘pre-race’, ‘recovery post-race’, exclusive space to enjoy the giant paella and a gift from the organization.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE: The cancellation insurance provided by the organisation is a Europ Assistance insurance that will reimburse 100% of the amount paid for your registration (except for the cost of the insurance and the platform management fees: 1,50€) as long as one of the 28 reasons for cancellation is met.
